VOYAGERS PARENT RESOURCES

For the month of July, our Pre-K classroom is in a series called, "LIVE IT OUT".

This month, we will continue to live it out and discover how to love like Jesus with our preschoolers. Jesus showed us
how to love in many ways as He helped people, was kind to them, forgave them, and was patient and gentle toward
them. Jesus was consistently showing us what love looks like. There is another way we can learn how to love like Jesus and that is by doing what Jesus says. Jesus gave us very clear instructions on what to do, and then Jesus gave us the gift of His Holy Spirit to guide us and help us do it. That is why we want our preschoolers to learn that I can do what Jesus says . . . because they can! Preschoolers can do what Jesus says and show his love to everyone everywhere!

This month in our elementary grade classes, our Voyagers are in a series called "LIVE IT OUT - DISCOVER HOW TO LOVE LIKE JESUS."

Living and loving like Jesus sounds great in theory, but may be a little hard in practice. However, with the help of God’s Spirit, we don’t have to do it alone. When we follow Jesus, God’s Spirit transforms us, shaping us every day into who God has called us to be and how God is calling us to live. Live It Out is not JUST a theme, but a call to action. It encourages kids to actively live out their faith through their words and interactions with others. And the more we become like Jesus, the more we can make a true difference in this world and in the lives of those around us.
